Adam and Lauren met at Snowbird during the Summer 2007 and were married in September 2008. They answered the call to begin serving at Mt. Gilead Church in Griffin, GA. in August 2007 while God continues to prepare us for future ministry overseas. Adam has been on 3 short-term mission trips to Zarnesti, Romania and has felt burdened for a long time to begin a church-planting movement in the village there. This will be a massive undertaking as they leave family and friends to embark on a journey with many unanswered questions still ahead. They are excited that God has placed them in ministry there for now but anxiously await His confirmation for the next move in our lives.

Strategy:
God has strategically placed Adam and Lauren at Mt. Gilead Church in Griffin, GA to learn more about church ministry and the demands that lay ahead for church planting overseas. Shortly after Adam took the position as youth pastor there, most of the church staff resigned to take positions at other churches. Over the past year Adam has learned a great deal about church ministry as he has been thrust into leadership positions that he never imagined. Please continue to pray that God would use their time there to grow them and teach them more about how He is calling them to do ministry in Romania. They are also very blessed to have Adam's sister Jen and her husband Adam here at the church with them. They too have felt called to partner with Adam and Lauren in their future ministry to Romania. God has given the Vinsons a unique opportunity to minister in the same church and the same apartment complex (the exact type of ministry we will have in Romania) with both of them. Pray that we would be faithful to do ministry there with the same passion they will need to do ministry in Romania.
